Good afternoon, 

We had a great showing at the Warrior Invite.  Coach Eddie said he was really impressed with the team.  We had some best times and some people had to swim more that they were planning to help the team. Our girls almost tied with the 5A Byrnes girls!  I have attached the results to the email. 

Practice

We will have normal practices this week leading up to our Region 2 4A meet on Saturday.  

Homecoming Parade

We will be participating in the Daniel Homecoming parade in Central on Wednesday October 1st.  I expect all athletes to attend.  Wear a swim shirt and if you want to had candy to spectators, we can.  I know we are not a showy group, but this is a community and school event that we need to support.  We will line up at 6:15 across from Mullinax tree service near the football field.  

Final Meet - Region

Our final meet will be on Saturday October 4th at Fike on Clemson's campus.  I will send details closer to time, but warm-ups will start around 1:30 and the meet will begin at 2:30.  Plan to stay the entire time.  We are trying to win region for the 6th straight year!  If you want to swim a specific race, note that on your commitment page.  This is the last chance to qualify for state finals.  Spend the week preparing like an athlete.  Sleep enough, eat nutritious food and limit your scrolling.
